All bullying situations involve different environments, personalities, circumstances,
people, outcomes, etc. and one single consequence for all actions is suggesting
discipline should be a “one size fits all” strategy. Since each bullying action
involves different intentions, actions, severity, and the above mentioned factors
we need to treat all bullying situations and interventions individually and on a
case by case basis.
School policy dictates what consequence is given to the person who performed a bullying action, but this website provides additional suggested interventions to assist in preventing further bullying acts.
